SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS AT THE BUTTERY

We hold songwriting workshops throughout each year, both at The Buttery as well as in other spaces! We tailor each workshop to the age group and demographic we are working with.

• Some of the things you can get out of songwriting workshops with The Buttery:

  • Make a bunch of awesome new friends

  • Learn about song structure, songwriting, and techniques for writing lyrics and putting a song together

  • A bunch of art, craft, drama and music games

  • Write songs from scratch as an entire group, in smaller groups or bands, and by yourself

  • Learn to express yourself through song

  • Learn how different chords, melodies and rhythms affect the emotion of a song
